Windle Cockrum

Windle Lynn Cockrum, age 67, of Terrell passed away on Sunday morning, February 21st, 2021. Windle was born on March 3rd, 1953 in Grand Prairie, Texas, the son of Ernest Gene and Dorothy Cockrum. Windle Cockrum married Cheryl Hayes in Dallas, Texas on December 11th, 1971.  Windle and Cheryl were married for 49 years. Windle loved to spend his free time fishing and horseback riding.

Windle is survived by his wife Cheryl; son, Windle Jr; grandchild, Taylor Khiya; and great grandchild, Cayden; along with numerous friends and family.

Windle was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Dorothy; 1 brother, and 1 sister.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26th, 2021 from 11am – 1pm in Goggans Funeral Home.
