Tonya Teuton

Tonya Lashelle Teuton, 32, resident of Terrell, passed away in the early morning of October 29, 2009 in a Dallas Hospital. Tonya was born March 24, 1977 in Olney, Maryland to James and Shirley (Elvington) Teuton. She moved to Texas in 1980 and graduated from Wills Point High School. She was a student perusing a nursing degree and a member of the United Body of Christ Church in Terrell. Tonya is survived by her children, Vivian, Alexis, and Dontae Teuton of Terrell; her parents, James and Shirley Teuton of Terrell; two brothers, Jason Rankin of Terrell and Chris Rankin of Garland; and two nieces, Jaden and Jersey Rankin. Her funeral service, under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home, will be Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 10:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home, with Pastor Travis Tate and Dr. Paul Calmes officiating. Her burial will follow the service at Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
