Thomas Jones Jr.

Thomas "Tommy" Albert Jones Jr. was called home on November 1, 2017 at the age of 65, in the comfort of his residence. He was born on January 11, 1952 in Houston, Texas to his parents, Thomas Albert Jones Sr and Sadie Katherine Owen. Tommy was loved dearly by his wife Kathy Jones and the shared 40 years of unconditional love.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Kathy; father, Thomas Albert Jones Sr.; along with five children, daughter, Wendi Jones; grandchildren Meghin and Joshua Webb; daughter, Katrina Bob and husband Tom; grandchildren, Joseph and Heather Bob; daughter, Gina Sims and husband Daniel; grandchild, Todd Sims and great granddaughter Eleanora Sims; grandchildren, Cody Sims, Elizabeth Sims and Katherine Herring with husband Joseph; son, Bryan Medlock and wife Courtnie; granddaughter Kinlee Preist; daughter, Amber Kirby and husband Aaron; grandsons, Jude and Owen Kirby. He is also survived by brothers, Douglas and Marty Jones; sister, Charlene Jones, and his nephew Chad Comstock with wife Jana.

Tommy will be remembered as a quiet, loving and gentle man. To the grandkids he is known as "Papaw" and he loved to spend as much time with them as possible. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Tommy enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening, fishing and spending time outdoors. Tommy will be missed by many friends and family.

Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Sadie Katherine Owen and grandson, Dawson Medlock.

The family will be celebrating Tommy's life on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell, Texas. Visitation will start at 1:00 PM followed by services at 2:00 PM with burial immediately following at Elmo Cemetery.
