Sherry Smith

Sherry Ann Smith, 56, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Sherry was born on March 6, 1958 to Charles and Alice LeCroy in Terrell, Texas. Sherry would meet and later marry Mike Smith in 1994. Sherry worked for over ten years for the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas. Sherry was one of those rare individuals who loved life and lived every moment of every day to the fullest. She loved to laugh; had a wicked sense of humor; as well as a warm smile and compassionate heart. Her greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. They were her true passion. Sherry will truly be missed by all who knew her. Sherry is preceded in death by her mother, Alice LeCroy. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Mike Smith; children, Jay Doss, Casey Smith, Alice Roberson and her husband Junior, Terry Hall, Cash Jones and his wife Leslie, Tyler Smith; grandchildren, Brittany, Sonja, Kylie, Delanyna, Alexis, Brooke, Amber, Riley, Ariel, Maisie and Seraphina; father, Charles LeCroy; brothers, Chuck LeCroy and his wife Cindy, Shane LeCroy and his wife Mindy, Kirk LeCroy and his wife Teri; as well as numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Weaver Cemetery.
