Robert Vavra

Robert Jacob Vavra, 72, of Kaufman, passed away on December 15, 2010 in Mesquite. Robert was born on April 26, 1938 in Caldwell, the son of Robert Emil and Annie Mary (Vavra) Vavra. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Robert Vavra; two brothers, Searcy Ernest Vavra, and an infant brother; and three infant sisters. Mr. Vavras family that are cherishing the memories of his life are his sons, Christopher Jacob Vavra and his wife Jennifer of Rockwall and Michael Allen Vavra and his wife Monica of Kaufman; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Lily Baker of Forney, Patsy Moye of Mesquite, Margaret Tucker of Oklahoma, Janie Barnett of Wylie, Jennie Goode of Point, and Connie Sage of Oregon; one brother, Henry Vavra and his wife Diane of Forney; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 17 from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
