Paul Douglas Gore, 53, passed quietly away at his home on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Paul was born November 11, 1960 to George and Dorothy Gore in Dallas, Texas. He went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. Paul would meet and later marry Sonya Williamson in December 1993. Together, they would raise two wonderful daughters, Amanda and Katie. Paul was the owner and operator of Gore's Auto Doctor automotive repair shop for over thirty years. Paul loved cars. He loved traveling and camping; being outdoors. But Paul's true passion was for his Lord; his family and his friends. Paul was a man of faith. He loved his Lord and Savior; he loved his church and he lived his Christian faith daily. Paul loved his family. He loved to spend time with his wife and daughters; his brothers and sister; as well as with his extended family of church friends. Paul had an infectious smile and laugh. He loved meeting new people and never met a stranger. His is a light that will truly be missed. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Gore and his daughter, Amanda Gore. Those left to celebrate his life include his wife, Sonya Gore; daughter, Katie Gore; brothers, Wayne Gore and his wife Laura, Roger Gore and his wife Karla; sister, Judy Roberts and her husband Jan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. A celebration of Paul's life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Keystone Church, 1016-A Pioneer Road, Mesquite, Texas 75149.
