Patricia (Pat) Ann Marsteen age 81, was born on April 3, 1943 in Indianapolis Minnesota. She was called home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Mabank, Texas after a courageous four-year battle with dementia.
Pat was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and dedication to her family. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Pat was a wonderful Mother, Grandma and Nannie, she will be missed so much and will forever be in our hearts.
Pat had one lifelong best friend Cathy Kimport. They have been friends for over 65 years, even when Pat moved to Texas in 2012, they still did not lose contact with each other. Cathy has even made a trip to Texas to visit Pat and her family. Pat loved all things crafting, she especially enjoyed doing plastic canvas and making gifts for her family and friends. She always kept herself busy with a project of some kind whether it was with yarn, coloring, or recipes in her cookbooks. She has had a genuine love for Diet Dr. Pepper since she was 19 years old.
