Nelda Clemmons

Nelda Gay Clemmons, 67, of Terrell, passed away on July 22, 2010 at her home. She was born on June 12, 1943 in Terrell, the daughter of William Samuel and Myrtie Mae (Horton) Isham. Nelda worked for the Terrell ISD before her retiring. Left to cherish the memories of her life are her children, Dayna Crutcher, Dewayne Dry, Laura Sypert, and Nathan Clemmons of Terrell; grandchildren, Shaye Burleson, Kellie Dry, Cheri Crutcher, Cody Dry, Tyler Brumbelow, Coy Woolverton, and Brianna Dry of Terrell; great grandchildren, Jaden and Jeven Holland of Terrell; two sisters, Merle Epperson and Ruth Vann of Terrell; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in her death by two husbands, Noah Van Woolverton and Jimmy Clemmons; one son Tim Woolverton; and one sister Billie Tarpley. Her funeral service, under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home, will be Monday July 26, 2010, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
