Meta Rae Plevnic

Meta Rae Plevnic, 84 years of age passed away on September 10, 2024. Meta was a long-time resident of Terrell, TX for 50 years. Meta was happily married to Conrad Plevnic for 60 years. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to James Pingree and Lucy Hazel Crawford on 12/7/1939.

Meta’s father was in the military and she had a wonderful life being able to travel around the world with her family and had many wonderful life experiences. Meta’s brother Pingree and his wife Judy Crawford also spent many years with Meta sharing unforgettable memories as they traveled around the world together. Meta and Judy were best of friends.

Meta spent a lot of her childhood in places like Greece. Meta also spent a lot of her teenage years with Judy at Sam Houston and even graduated high school in Tokyo. Meta loved horses and one of her most favorite things she to do was saddling up and riding horses with Conrad. One of her hobbies were to knit, she loved making afghans. 

Conrad and son James Plevnic from Foster Oklahoma along with other friends and family will forever cherish her memory.
