Maggie Lewis

Maggie Leona Lewis, 83, resident of Terrell, passed away on December 7, 2009. Maggie was born October 7, 1926 in San Antonio, the daughter of Adolph Charles and Mary M. (Bailey) Wawarofshy. She married Raymond Bush Lewis who preceded her in death on March 29, 2003. Before Maggie retired she was a bank accountant for a bank in Houston for 27 years. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Terrell. She is survived by a special niece, Kimberly Lawrence and her husband Grady of Terrell and several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Her funeral service, under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home (www.goggansfh.com), will be Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Jimmy Sheppard and Elmer Rush officiating. Her burial will follow the service at New Hope Cemetery in Wills Point. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
