Linda Nell Vidales, 69; passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014. Linda was born on July 26, 1945 to William and Eula B Harper in Rockwall, Texas. Linda was known as a good cook who enjoyed cooking for her family. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and listening to music with her husband, Santos. Linda also loved puzzles. She would spend hours sitting on her porch working her puzzles. But Linda's true passion was her family. Linda adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, William and Eula B Harper; her grandparents; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as, several other extended family. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Santos Vidales; sons, Billy Brunson and his wife Ramicio, Buddy Brunson and his wife Carolyn, Riley Brunson and his wife Sherry, Chuck Mayo, Jr.; daughters, Kay Samuel, Dian Bennett and her husband Douglas; twenty-five grandchildren; forty-eight great-grandchildren; as well numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lord's House of Prayer, 309 South Main Street Crandall, Texas. A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. also at the church. The interment will immediately follow the service at College Mound Cemetery in Terrell, Texas. Pastor Frank Reyna will officiate.
