Laura J. Jacobs, 96, passed on Friday, November 8, 2013 at her home in Heartland, Texas. Laura was born December 28, 1916 to Vester and Edna Ashby in Hunt County, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment at Grove Hill Memorial Park will immediately follow the funeral service.
