Kathrine Lucille Wooldridge, 88, resident of Rockwall, passed away on January 1, 2010 in the early morning hours. Kathrine was born on February 8, 1921 in Rockwall, the daughter of Albert Lee and Iva Drusilla (Maynard) Boren. She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell before her retiring. She is survived by two brothers, Durwood Boren of Fate and Austin Boren of Garland; one sister, Helen Horton of Garland; one step son, Roy Wooldridge and his wife Rhonda of Rockwall; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Wooldridge of Terrell; step grandchildren, Heather, Kim, Kristen and five other step grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She is preceded in her death by three husbands, Garland B. Taylor, Ted Tapp, and Billy Wooldridge; her parents; two infant children; one son, Tony Tapp; one step son, Billy Wooldridge; three sisters, Lois Cummings, Iva Lee Massey, and Beatrice Pierce; and one brother, Cleon Boren. Her funeral service, under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home (www.goggansfh.com), will be Monday, January 4, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Billy Martin officiating. Her burial will follow the service at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell. Visitation with the family will be Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 at the funeral home.
