Tracey Hocker, 51, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 in Forney, Texas. Tracey was born January 18, 1962 to Bill and Barbara Hocker in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tracey would meet and later marry Beverly Fanning on June 20, 1982 in Altus, Oklahoma. Tracey loved people. He loved being with friends and coworkers. Tracey was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 25 years; serving the communities of Vernon, Mesquite and Terrell, Texas. Tracey loved helping people; but his passion was his family. Tracey loved being a husband, father and grandfather; son and brother. The time he spent with his wife and children was his most precious time. Loved by all who met him. Respected by all who worked with him. Tracey is a loving spirit of hope and healing that will truly be missed. Tracey is preceded in death by his father, Bill Hocker. Those left to celebrate his life include his beloved wife, Beverly; son, Dalton Hocker; daughters, Heather Hocker, Halie King and her husband Kacy and Shelby Hocker; grandchildren, Kenlie and Tracey James King; mother, Barbara Hocker; brothers, Kim Hocker and his wife Cynthia, George Hocker and is wife KiSun, Jesse Hocker and his wife Kim and Nathan Hocker; sister, Tami Bulter and her husband Kirk; sixteen nieces and nephews; nineteen great nieces and nephews; as well as a host of extended family, friends and neighbors. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Rafter J Cowboy Church located at 10701 County Road 305, Terrell, Texas. Pastor Bill Polley will be officiating the service.
