Karen Edwards

Karen Wanell Edwards, 45, of Forney, passed away on January 17, 2011 in the peace of her home. Karen was born on March 21, 1965 in Dallas, the daughter of William Nathan and Martha Ann (Tison) Long. She was a member of the Terrell First Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father; daughter, Patricia Ann Edwards; brother, Bruce Cullen Long; niece, Tiffany Lynn Zanolini; and nephew, Joshua Jacobs Jones. Karen is survived by her husband, Terry Franklin Ferrell; mother Martha Ann Jones and step father, Walter Jones of Terrell; grandmother, Elsie Jean Tison of Terrell; four brothers and three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. Her memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 22, at the Terrell First Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor William Jackson officiating. The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or to your favorite charity in memory of Karen.
