Jimmy Hemphill

Graveside service for Jimmy Dale Hemphill, age 73, of Terrell, will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Highland Memorial Gardens in Terrell with Bro. Eric Neilson officiating. Mr. Hemphill passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020.

Jimmy was born on September 2, 1946 to Willy Clay and Claudie Eldridge Hemphill in Louisville, Mississippi. He married Evelyn Holden on May 22, 1995 in Kaufman County. Jimmy worked as a truck driver and retired from PCT 3.  He was a member of Quinlan Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Evelyn Hemphill; son, James Hemphill; daughter, Jennifer Gardner; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Dennis Hemphill; sister, Barbara January and numerous family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tony Voight; grandson, Michael Hemphill; brothers, Wayne Hemphill and Cecil Hemphill.
