James Weldon LupPlace

James Weldon LupPlace (Jimmy) was born October 23, 1946 in Hot Springs, AR to Hazel and Myles LupPlace and was the oldest of six children, His family moved around alot while growing up and he loved to tell stories from each city.

 

As an adult, he owned a machine shop with his siblings which they started in Jim's garage.

He watched every John Wayne movie and read every book and could quote them word for word.

 

He loved to travel around the US and abroad and camped and fished as often as he could. He loved to tell stories of his trip to Europe to visit his brother Allen who was serving in the military.

 

His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and never missed a sporting event or school function. 

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends

 

He is preceded in death by his Mother Hazel, Father Myles, Wife Michelle, and GrandDaughter Chanson.

He leaves behind siblings, Allen and wife Susan, Dorothy and husband Charles,Darrel, David and wife Mary, and Kathy, his children Ashley and husband Daniel, Clay and wife Lauren, his grandchildren Victoria  and husband Rhett, Nathaniel, Cayden, Kendall, and great-grandchild Theodore, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
