Herman Walker

September 11, 1927 — February 20, 2020

Herman L. Walker, 92, of Crandall, Texas passed away in Kaufman, on February 20, 2020.

He was born on September 11, 1927 to Robert Lancelot Walker and Fannie Gray in Zavala, Texas. He married Barbara Wells on June 1, 1945 in Crandall, Texas, who preceded him in death on April 26, 2000. Herman retired as a Rate Department Supervisor with Central Freight Lines. He also served in the United States Army.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Carol Powell and husband Ronald; grandson, Mark Powell; sisters, Jewel Howard and Darlene Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, his many friends at Central Baptist Church, and his Saturday morning breakfast club.

Herman was preceded in death by his sisters, Beatrice Shook and Billie Henery.

Herman was much loved and will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
