Funeral Services for Guadalupe Linda Escamilla, age 77, of Forney will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 31st, 2022 at Peoples Fellowship Assembly with Pastor Rick Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 30th, 2022 at Peoples Fellowship Assembly. Guadalupe went to be with our Lord on December 24th, 2022 in Dallas, TX.

Guadalupe was born on December 7th, 1945 in Laredo, TX to Sebastian Garcia and Asencion Longoria. She married the love of her life, David Escamilla, on July 9th, 1966 in Scott's Bluff, Nebraska. She worked as a sheet metal fabricator and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Samuel Escamilla of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Sandra Newman of Forney, TX; son, David Escamilla Jr. of Forney, TX; grandson, Richard Escamilla of Forney, TX; grandson, Anthony Frazier of Forney, TX; granddaughter, Roxann Escamilla of Grand Prairie, TX; grandson, Fidel Alvarez of Royse City, TX; granddaughter, Linda Escamilla of Grand Prairie, TX; grandson, Eric Vasquez of Pueblo Colorado, TX; grandson, Miguel Ortego of Dallas, TX; grandson, Eric Newman of Forney, TX; granddaughter, Angelica Vasquez of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughter, Genisis Escamilla of Grand Prarie, TX; grandson, Braeden Newman of Forney, TX; grandson, Jacob Newman of Forney, TX; grandson, Sabastian Escamilla of Forney, TX; granddaughter, Alani Escamilla of Forney, TX; 18 Great Grand kids; sister, Yolanda Mendoza of Grand Prairie, TX; brother, Juan Garcia of Grand Prairie, TX; sister, Esperanza Lerma of Tampa, FL; brother, Thomas Garcia of Surprize, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Asencion Garcia of Laredo, TX; father, Sebastian Garcia of Lyman, NE; brother, Abelardo Garcia of Grandbury, TX; sister, Lori Gonzalez of Torrington, WY; brother, Frank Garcia of Torrington, WY; brother, Danny Garcia of Laredo, TX; and brother, Sebastian Garcia of Laredo, TX.
