Gregory York

Gregory Howard York, 65, passed away April 11, 2012 in Terrell. He was born June 10, 1946 in Middlesboro, KY, the son of Roy and Victoria (Johnson) York. Gregory married Pricilla Ann Mize on April 8, 1965 in Grand Prairie. He was a plumber and heating and air-conditioning service technician for many years. Mr. York is survived by three children, Gregory Howard York, Jr. and his wife Aubrea of Mabank, James Harold York and his wife Pamela of Terrell, and Kimberly Inez York Pritchett and her husband Calvin Pool of Tawakoni; 13 grandchildren,; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, H. D. Johnson, Penny Lynch, Kenneth York, Jay York, Sheila Johnson, and Carolyn Coffey; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Faye York; and brother, Spurgeon York. His memorial service will be Saturday, May 12 at 10 am at Goggans Funeral Home.
