Gloria Elaine Brumbaugh

Gloria "Elaine" Brumbaugh of Terrell, TX passed away peacefully January 29th, 2023 with her family by her side. Dear, sweet mama, has made the journey home to be with her husband, Richard (Dick) A. Brumbaugh who preceded her in death on May 1st, 2011.

Elaine was born July 29th, 1944 in Rice, TX to John Carl Cooper and Sadie Ann Boon Cooper. She was one of twelve children. She was a life long resident of Terrell/Elmo, TX. Elaine was employed for many years at Titus Fabrication. She was excellent at her job and always strived for perfection in everything she did. She enjoyed several hobbies, some of which were bowling, fishing and Bingo. Elaine was also an awesome cook.

Elaine is survived by her only child, James E. Babovec, Jr and wife Stephanie of Terrell, TX. A step-daughter, Dana Kay Wright and husband Gary. One sister, Sue Thomas of Marshall, TX and sister in law, Ruth Parker Cooper of Wills Point, TX.

Elaine was preceded in death by Georga Faye Tarlton and husband, Loyde. Annie Ruth Moore and husband Curtis. Bernice Marie Smith and husband Orville. Bobbie L. Beaty and husband John. Sammie Mosley and husband Leonard. W.M. (Buddy) Cooper and wife Ruth. Eugene Cooper and wife Akie, Jerry Cooper and wife Ferbie. C.H. (Tommy) Cooper and wife Betty and Johnny (Mac) Cooper.

Elaine has four grandsons, Koty Lynn Hubbard, Kegan Gene Babovec, Joshua Glenn Roark, Joszef Thomas Babovec and five granddaughters, Chazette Nicole Brumbaugh, Stephanie Marie Brumbaugh, Cheyenne Sky Brumbaugh, Matalie Jane Wright, Gracie Jo Wright, and Kenna Nicole Wright, along with numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
