Gertrude Biggins

Marie Gertrude Blanche “Chapdelaine” Biggins, age 91, of Quinlan passed away on Saturday afternoon, October 24th, 2020. Gertrude was born on January 31st, 1929 in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of William Chapdelaine and Aline St. Martin. Gertrude married Charles Edward Biggins Sr. in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on July 12th, 1952.

Gertrude is survived by her son, Charles Edward Biggins Jr. and wife Shelia of Quinlan, TX; grandchildren, Andrea Marie and Ashley Nicole; sister, Doris Beaudette of Millbury, MA; niece, Claire Briddon of Auburn, MA; nephew, Roger Bartholomy of Woonsocket, RI; sister-in-law, Joan Chapdelaine of Newport, RI; goddaughter, Sandra Briddon of Auburn, MA; along with numerous family and friends.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband Charles; parents, William and Aline; brothers, Herve and Armand Chapdelaine; and sisters, Theresa Bijou, and Antoinette Bartholomy.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 3:00 pm in Goggans Funeral Home.
