Gearldine Barnum

Funeral service for Gearldine Barnum, age 67, of Terrell TX, will be held at 2:00P.M. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Goggans Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at College Mound Cemetery in Terrell. Visitation will be held from 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Goggans Funeral Chapel. Goggans is located at 1911 N. Frances Street, Terrell, TX 75160.

Gearldine was born on July 28, 1954 in Brownwood, TX to JD and Mary Barnum. She spent the last 32 years of her life with her husband and best friend, Joe McComas; and lived as a homemaker most of her life as she enjoyed caring for her family and animals.

She is survived by her husband, Joe McComas; son, Thomas Rearden; daughter, Stephanie Johnston; son-in-law, Bill Johnston; grandchildren, Josh Rearden, Addy Johnston, Billy Johnston, Alicia Case; 6 sisters; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews all of which she loved dearly.

Gearldine was preceded in death by her daughter, Tereasa Lynn Rearden; father, JD Barnum; mother, Mary Barnum; brother, Danny Barnum; sister, Mary Cato.
