Garland Raney

Garland Robert Raney, age 74, of Nevada passed away on Monday afternoon, February 1st, 2021. Garland was born on December 6th, 1946 in Sherman, Texas, the son of Garland Raney and Dorthea Mae Pratt. Garland married Betty JoAnna Raney. Garland Raney proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

Garland is survived by his; son, Stephen Raney; daughter, Stacey Williams and husband David; grandchildren, Andrew Wilkerson, Alex Wilkerson, Zain Rosser, and Hunter Raney; great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Dexter Wilkerson; brother-in-law, Jess and wife Delores Calhoun; sisters-in-law, Peggy Brown and Florance Prince; along with numerous friends and family.

Garland was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; granddaughter,  Kristina; parents, Garland and Dorthea; brother-in-law, Jim Brown; nephew, Matthew Calhoun; and family member, Florence Calhoun.

Memorial Service will be held on a later date.
