Frances Faye Lang, 79 of Terrell, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 in Rockwall, Texas. Frances was born July 14, 1935 to John and Estelle Tarwater in Grapevine, Texas. Frances was one of a kind. She loved country life and living on the Lamar Hunt Ranch. She enjoyed canning; visiting Amish communities; hanging out on her porch and garden for "girl talk"; reading crime novels; listening to her police scanner and riding around in police cars. Frances even volunteered as a security guard for the Terrell Annual Jubilee. She also had a license to carry a gun and made sure everyone knew about it. Frances wanted to be a private investigator and was even taking classes to get her "P.I. license". Frances also loved to ride motorcycles, had a "belly button ring" and possibly a secret boyfriend. Frances also loved oil painting, sewing, knitting blankets and quilts and doll collecting. But Frances' greatest passion was her family. She adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandson. She loved spending time with them and hearing about the smallest detail of their daily activities. She was a spunky character with a keen sense of humor, open heart;as well as a compassionate and generous spirit. In her last days, Frances acknowledged her need for salvation and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She forgave others and prayed for their forgiveness. She has now entered into everlasting life in Heaven with her Creator. She confirmed her faith in front of several witnesses. The prayers of many for her salvation have been answered. Frances is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hugh Tarwater; sister, Mary Jo Tarwater-Burns; step-son, James Lang and husband, Tony Lang. Those left to celebrate her life include her sons, Bruce Brewer and his wife Lacey, Mark Brewer; their father, Robert Brewer; granddaughters, LeeAnn Blankenship and her husband, Garret, Dana Hall and her husband Oran and Sonora Horton; great-grandson, Braxton Hall; sister, Ollie Craker; close friends, Jeff and Suzy Hass; six nieces; as well as extended family, friends and neighbors.
