Ernest Turner

Ernest Lee Turner, 78, of Terrell, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Ernest was born on June 10, 1939 in California.

Ernest was a very caring grandfather, firm when needed. He was known as "Grandpa" to the grandkids. He always looked at everyone like family.

Ernest's family members who are cherishing the memories of his life are his daughters, Joyce Carter, Terry Garza; sons, Johnny Carter, Mike Carter, Jackey Carter; daughter-in-law, Kristi Turner; brother, Phil Turner; 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Ronald Keith, James Carter; first wife, Jackie Sue Sutherland; second wife, Judy Dison Turner; grandsons, Bradley Wayne Peters, Wayne Carter; brothers, Emory Turner, Gene Turner.

Ernest's family will host visitation hour at Goggans Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, October 6, 2017, 10:00 AM. His funeral service will follow at 11:00, October 6, 2017 at Goggans Funeral Home Chapel. Immediately following the service will be the interment at Oakland Cemetery in Terrell, Texas.
