Edna "Frankie" Camp-Armstrong, 74, of Mesquite, passed away June 7, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 31, 1936 in Erick, Ok, the daughter of Alonzo and Clara Opal (Powell) Price. She was a member of the Rockwall & Brin Church of Christ in Terrell. She retired from the Dallas ISD as a Teachers Aide working with special needs children. She is survived by her children, Diana Whitaker and her husband Dana of Forney, Donald J. Camp and his wife Donna of Mesquite, Karon Washington and her husband Gaylord of Garland; six grandchildren, Scott Whitaker and his wife Christi, Tracie Penny and her husband Devin, Jennifer Camp, Megan Camp, Ashley Washington, and Ryan Washington; seven great grandchildren, Jake Whitaker, Ethan Whitaker, Savannah Whitaker, Shelby Walker, Kenzie Walker, Hadley Penny, and Reagan Camp; and one brother, Marvin Price and his wife Betty of Waxahachie. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, James M. Camp. Her funeral service is planned for Friday, June 10, at 10:00 am at Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell with Keith Feerer officiating. Her burial will follow the service at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite. Visitation with the family is planned for Thursday night 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
