Dwight Johnson

Dwight D. Johnson, 78, of Terrell, passed away on February 13, 2011. He was born on February 28, 1932 in Bonham, the son of Floyd Franklin and Sylvia Lucy (Evans) Johnson. He married Helen Marie Jackson on September 30, 1950 in McKinney. Dwight was a security guard for Kraft Foods before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents; brother, Floyd Eugene Johnson; and sister, Virginia R. Moss. Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Danny Johnson and his wife Erin of Poetry and Ricky Johnson of Atlanta; his daughter, Linda Dailey of Josephine; two sisters, Marcella Gilbert of Princeton and Mildred Chapman of Amarillo; ten grandchildren, Kelli, Richard, Naomi, Brian, Cortni, Jacob, Beth, Daniel, Nathan, and Billy Jack; seventeen great grandchildren, Nicole, Addison, Blake, Brook, Brynn, Scottie, Alexander, Micah, Rachelle, Emma, Grayson, Selah, Eden, Cedric, Brandon, Dustin, and Dillon. His funeral service will be Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at1:00 pm at Goggans Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Sheppard officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
