Donna Raidt

May 31, 1956 — May 31, 2021

Donna Rae (Moody) Raidt was born December 1, 1956 to Lloyd and Betty (Pitts) Moody in Chickasha, OK. She received her angel wings on June 2, 2021 with her family by her side.

Donna attended Putnam City West High School. She married the love of her life, Mike Raidt on August 27, 1976. The couple had one son, Colby. The family lived throughout Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana while Mike worked on golf courses and was involved in horse racing. Donna worked for Haskell-Lemon Construction in Oklahoma City until her retirement and relocation to Texas to be closer to her son and his family.

Donna was fun-loving and the life of the party. She loved big family events, great music, and dancing. She was a great cook and loved sharing her desserts with family and friends.

Donna was kind and loving to all those around her. Her smile would brighten your day and light up the room. She made friends with everyone she met and treated everyone like family. She would do anything for anybody.

Her greatest joy in life was her son and his family. Donna was Colby’s biggest fan. When he was young, she loved to watch him play sports. As he got older, she was eager to share about his accomplishments in school and work. She was a wonderful grandmother. Her granddaughters brought a great deal of delight to her life.

Donna was predeceased by her parents; father-in-law SJ Raidt; brother, Sam Moody; and sister-in-law, Betsy Moody.

Donna is survived by her husband, Mike of Terrell, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Colby and Holly Raidt of Terrell, TX; granddaughters, Lilly and Callie Raidt of Terrell, TX; mother-in-law Lila Raidt of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters Sharon Lebow and husband, Larry Nickels, of Glencoe, OK; and Brenda Kilmer and husband, Steve, of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law Michelle Packard and husband, Denny, of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers-in-law Mark Raidt and wife, Leslie, of Tulsa, OK; and Marlon Raidt and wife, Ruthie, of Kingfisher, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
