Dolores Whitehead, age 88, of Terrell passed away on Saturday evening, December 5th, 2020. Dolores was born on September 12, 1932 in Darien, Connecticut, the daughter of Harold Cooper and Dorothy Sickles. She would then go on to attend Oklahoma State University. Dolores Cooper married Harold “Tex” Whitehead and had four beautiful daughters. Dolores proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. She was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, and an active member of the Kaufman County Civic Theatre.
Dolores is survived by her husband Harold; daughters, Renee Mackintosh and husband Rick, Cheryl Whitehead, and Jackie Montfort; grandchildren, Ricky and wife Judith, Mark, Skip, Andy and wife Melisa, Jennifer and husband Mark, Danny and wife Aimee, Patrick, Skye, Amelia, and Katie; great grandchildren, Ryan, Hazel, Samantha, Hayden, Logan, Jerrod, Anthony, Hailey, Cobey, and Annabelle; brother, John; sisters, Charolette, Marjorie, and Margaret; along with numerous friends and family.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy; and daughter Dana Whitehead.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 at 3:00 pm in the courtyard of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church of Terrell. (Time may change due to weather)
