Diana Reeves Green, 72; of Terrell, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 in Rockwall, Texas. Diana was born on March 13, 1943 to Leland and Georgia Reeves in Granite City, Illinois. She would meet and later marry Clarence "Bob" Green in 1964. Diana was an imaginative and creative personality who began her journey by creating ways to overcome a physical disability and live life to the fullest. She lived everyday with excitement wanting to experience everything that day would bring to her and never let her limitations stop her from doing what she wanted to do. Diana had various talents and gifts. She was a lover of music - all music; and played the guitar and piano. Diana loved to sew. She made dresses, costumes, clothes for her daughters' dolls. She also was an exceptionally talented artist. She could paint still lifes, portraits; even sceneries. Diana also excelled in floral design owning her own flowershop. Diana owned Stallings Flowers in Terrell for over fifteen years. She was a vital part of the growing Terrell business community and will truly be missed. Diana was a compassionate and generous spirit. Her infectious smile, open heart and giving nature made her the Hero of her children's lives; as well as an amazing role model for her children and grandchildren. This is a spirit that will truly be missed. Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Georgia Reeves; husband Bob Green; brothers Johnnie Reeves and Michael Kozuch; sister, Kathy Kozuch. Those left to cherish her memory include, David Hogan; son Stacy Green and his wife Heather; daughter Kelly Baker and her husband Jason; grandchildren, Nathan Green, Mason Green, Taylor Baker and Georgia Baker; brother, B.J. Smith and his wife Carolyn; sisters Norma Ross and her husband Raymond, Karen S. Karadimas and her husband Michael and Pamela Warren and her husband David; as well numerous nieces and nephews; extended family, friends and neighbors. A celebration of Diana's life will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
