In Loving Memory of David Gordon McIntyre

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David McIntyre, age 63, on September 24, 2024 after a courageous four-year battle with kidney failure and heart complications. He was born in North Ridge, California, but he built a life filled with love, family, and faith in Texas for more than 30 years.

He was a beloved son of Stan and Fran McIntyre, and the much loved little brother to Connie, Bonnie, and Janet. He was a devoted husband to Donna, his wife of 37 years, and together they raised four children: Amanda, Crystal, Jared, and Pastel, who were the pride of his life. He was also an amazing grandpa to Bella, Draven, and Jacqueline, cherishing every moment spent with them.

David was a firm believer in God and lived his life grounded in faith and family. He was hardworking, spending his life dedicated to providing for those he loved. He had a passion for the great outdoors, enjoying fishing trips, football Sundays, and the freedom of the open road. He was big and tough with a heart of gold. His sense of humor, spunk, and quick wit endeared him to many, and he never missed an opportunity to share a smart-aleck remark with those he loved.

Though his battle was tough, David faced every challenge with resilience and strength. He was eager to return home to heaven, where he is now at peace in the arms of his Savior. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory and spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
