Bobby Gene Lumpy Taylor, age 56, of Kaufman, passed away in the late evening hours of Monday, January 25, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman. He was born in Kaufman on April 15, 1953 to James Marion and Grace Cunningham Taylor, they preceded him in death. He worked his life as an electrical contractor but loved spending his time playing jokes on people, hunting and camping, and barbequing as grill master for his family. Lumpy never met a stranger and was liked by all who knew him and will be deeply missed by all those he touched. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Donna Harwood; children, Angela and Randy Brumbelow, Clint and Elizabeth Taylor, and Kristen Taylor and Richie Garcia; step-daughter, Casey and Donnie Mitho; grandchildren, Lauren Brumbelow, Chase Brumbelow, Chance Taylor, Presley Taylor, Landry McKnight, and Ashlee Garcia; step-grandchildren, Randi Harwood, Makala Milton, and Kyan Milton; mother of his children, Linda Taylor; siblings, Oscar W. and Beverly Taylor, Dorothy Crow, Leona Harwell, Shirley and Rayford Harwell, Betty and Leonard Gutierrez, and George and Sheila Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Yvonne Lyons. Services for Bobby Lumpy Taylor will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the First Assembly of God in Terrell with Pastor Robert Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 -8 P.M., Wednesday evening at Goggans Funeral Home.
