Billie Turner

Billie Turner, 79, passed away quietly during the early morning hours of Monday, November 19, 2012 in Flower Mound. Billie was born July 18, 1933 in Wills Point, to D. J. and Chrysteen (Brewer) Flowers. She married Robert J. Turner September 1975 in Terrell. She was a teller at the American National Bank for 30 years before she retired. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Terrell. Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert and her parents, D. J. and Chrysteen Flowers. Those left to celebrate her life include two daughters, Brenda Burk and her husband Doug and Leslene Wallace and her husband Kenneth; her son, Billy Baker; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Goggans Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Head Officiating. Interment at Oakland Memorial Park will immediately follow the service. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. before the service. The family has requested that donations be made in honor of Billie to research of Parkinsons disease to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
