Betty Jean (Razz) King-McClosky, 72, of Wills Point, passed away April 26, 2011 in the peace of her home. She was born November 3, 1938 in Van Zandt County, the daughter of Joseph Roger Razz, Sr. and Lela Mae (Horn) Razz and she was very proud of her Bohemian and Irish Heritage. She graduated in 1957 from Wills Point High School and went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone in their business office. Then she worked for Terrell Schools as a teachers aide and substitute teacher. In 1981 she began working as a private caregiver and did this until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Terrell. She is survived by her two sons, Harold G. King, Jr. and James G. King; one grandson, Kacy King; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Christine Blasingame; two brothers, Joseph Roger Raz, Jr. and Don Lamar Razz. Betty was devoted to her family, friends and poodle pets. Her graveside service is planned for Friday, April 29 at 11 am at Highland Memorial Gardens in Terrell with Brother Jimmy Sheppard officiating. Visitation with the family is planned for Thursday night 6-8 pm, April 28, at the funeral home.
