Bertha Vargas

Bertha "Mama" Medina Vargas, 88, of Terrell, Texas passed away January 24, 2021. Mama was born December 7, 1932, to Zacarias and Antonia Medina in Asherton, Texas. In 1956 she married the love of her life Mike Vargas. She was Known as "Mama" to everyone. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grand children and nieces and nephews. She lived for her husband for 61 years. She was a woman of adventure and travel. She always gave good advice and said what was on her mind. Mama was known to have a coke in one hand and a conversation to be had. It was always a good humorous one. Her passion was taking care of her family.

Bertha is survived by her daughter; Diana Morales and husband Sergio Morales; daughter, Denise Barberine and ex-husband John Barberine; grand-daughter Naomi Robledo and husband Rodolfo Robledo; grand-daughter Anjelica Barberine; great-granddaughter Alicia Robledo; great-grandson Nigel Robledo.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband Mike Vargas; her sister Ciria Soto; her brother Ike Medina and sister in law Mary Alice Medina.
