Barry Wood

Barry Dawson Wood, affectionately known by family and friends as Bear. Bear was born in Mckinney, TX on May 26, 1970 to Lee Wood and Barbara Hines. After several months of illness Bear passed away on August 20, 2021 at Johnson Hospital, at Baylor with his much-loved wife, Trisha, and family by his side.

He met his wife in 2019 and they were married on August 1, 2020. He had three daughters, Megan, Tresaya and Bailee and one son, Leland. Bear enjoyed his job as a truck driver. He also loved spending his time with Trisha riding their motorcycle, taking the boat out and fishing.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Trisha Gail Wood; three daughters, Megan and husband Kenney, Tresaya and Bailee. He had one son, Leland and wife Elizabeth. Also, four grandchildren, Luke, Ben, ClaireBear and Jenna; one brother, John and wife Beverley and numerous family members and friends.

Bear will be greatly missed.
