Apolonio Castaneda

Apolonio Roman Castaneda, age 48, of Terrell passed away on Saturday morning, March 20th, 2021. Apolonio was born on September 24th, 1972 in Sain Alto, Zacatecas, Mexico, the son of Pedro Roman and Socorro Castaneda. Apolonio Roman Castaneda enjoyed the company of his adoring wife, Rosa Elba Diaz. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee for United Construction Services for several years. Apolonio was a beloved member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Terrell, Texas.

Apolonio is survived by his wife Rosa; son, Pedro Roman Diaz; daughter, Veronica Roman Diaz; stepson, Miguel Avalos; mother, Socorro Castaneda; sisters, Laura Roman, Cecilia Roman, Maria Roman, and Claudia Roman; along with numerous friends and family.

Apolonio was preceded in death by his father, Pedro; and brothers, Rogelio Roman, Ernesto Roman, Pedro Roman, and Ernesto Roman.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28th, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Goggans Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 30th, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.

Interment to follow at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell, Texas.
