Kirby Nix JR

Funeral service for Kirby Lee Nix JR, age 62, of Kaufman, TX will be held at 2:00 P.M on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell, TX. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow service at Weaver Cemetery in Terrell, TX. Mr. Nix passed away on June 19, 2021 after a long illness at Kaufman Healthcare Center in Kaufman, TX.

Kirby was born on May 27, 1959 in Terrell, TX to Kirby Lee Nix SR and Jessie Lee Harwell. Kirby Lee loved working out with weights, going to Texas Ranger games, playing tennis with his friend Mickey, bowling, baseball and all sports.

He is survived by his best friend Mickey Swindell and wife, Ann; 1st cousins, Alta and Bill Burch, and Linda Mathis Jones; cousin, Jane Jones and husband, Jim; along with numerous family members and friends.

Kirby was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
