Charles Allen Lindsey, 53, born August 12th, 1968 in Dallas, Texas, left this world on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 with his brother by his side at home in Kaufman, Texas. Charles was born in Dallas, Texas to Richard Gary Lindsey and Deanne (Curtis) Lindsey. He grew up in Pleasant Grove with his Nanny, Grace Kindle. Charles held two careers in his life in which he excelled. He worked eight years with the City of Irving as a Parks Specialist Crew Leader and four years with the City of Irving as a Refuge Transport Specialist. Charles then moved on to Delta Industries for more than 10 years as a Compressor Remanufacture Supervisor.
Charles met his adoring wife, Mary Lindsey in Terrell, Texas at Word of Life Church where they both ministered to the youth. They married April 18th, 1998. They loved God and the church and spent most of their time working with the youth. Charles was good at many things including playing base guitar. Early on in his life he had multiple exciting opportunities to play in Christian rock bands & church worship bands. Charles had a passion for using his base playing talent to worship the Lord and minister to the youth.
Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lindsey; father, Richard Gary Lindsey; mother, Deanna Curtis Lindsey; & maternal grandmother Grace Kindle. Charles is survived by his Brother, Richard Eric Lindsey and wife Clarissa; sister Miranda Amonoo; mother-in-law Barbara Smith; brother-in-law Chris Tann Jr and wife Ruth; sister-in-law Crystal Hernandez; and sister-in-law Dorenda Snyder and husband Justin; Charles was a proud and wonderful uncle to Kwesi, Kobe and Kia Amonoo, Emily and Kate Lindsey; Keaton and Emily Tann; and Austin and Jude Snyder.
Service for Charles will be held @ C3 Connections Community Church on Saturday, February 12th, 2:00 pm. C3 is located 3700 Chaha Road, Rowlett, 75088. Visitation at the church immediately following the service.
